AGREED WITH OTHER REVIEWER MUCH MUCH TOO TIGHT!! Oct 26, 2009
I purchase this after I saw the review from the other customer about the tightness of the case, thinking that it should be ok once I stretch it a bit and it loosens up.
I realized exactly how wrong I was when I tried to put my Ipod Touch 2G in.

When it came, everything looks pretty good. The pouch looked nicer than I thought it would be.

First off, I have a BSE skin on the Ipod Touch.
The Ipod Touch wouldnt go in at all. I spent approximately 5 minutes forcing the Touch in halfway. Then I realized how utterly impossible it was and tried to get it back out. It took me 10 minutes of tugging and I had my friend hold the other end, before I could get it out of there.
I tried to stick other things in there, eg. my cell phone, my fingers, etc. for around an hour to loosen it up. I tried again. It went in perhaps 3 quarters of the way (after another 5 minutes), and it just got stuck. I couldnt get a good grip of the Touch at this point and so I really couldn't get the Touch out. I was seriously contemplating cutting open the case.
After 15 minutes of tugging with a friend holding onto the case, I gripped the case with MY TEETH and gave it one good yank. My Touch was finally free. I'm never putting my Ipod into that thing again.
And amidst all of this, I tried using the pull tab thing and guess what? It RIPPED the lining b/c I guess I tugged too hard and the Ipod was too stuck.

If I didn't throw away all the original packaging already this baby would go right back. Now? I gave it to my boyfriend so he can use it as a cell phone pouch.
The problem is the width. It is simply not wide enough to fit my Touch in. I guess the BSE shield was also an issue b/c it added 2mm of thickness to the Touch.

So CAUTION - IF YOU HAVE AN INVISIBLE SHIELD DO NOT BUY THIS!!

Very nice product except, per previous review, you can't hardly get the iPod Touch 2G into the Glide and once in, it's even harder to remove. I thought I was going to break my brand new $400 Touch. I worked the leather and even stuffed it to try and stretch it, but no luck. I sent mine back (thankfully for a full refund).

This product would be outstanding if it were only a little looser. Very nice leather, nice inner soft lining. Nice and small. But if it was looser, it might need a fold over velcro tab or something to make sure the device doesn't fall out. As it is, the Glide was, for me, basically unusable.

The Marware Glide case is a nice design for users looking for something slim and protective while carrying the iPod Touch in a bag or pocket. It seems to be well made, the leather looks good, BUT the case was extremely tight at first. After working it over with some bending/stretching and using it for a couple of weeks, it's OK.

Update: the little pull up tab broke after a few weeks. My recommendation would be to look elsewhere.
