Sena Ultralight Pouch will not last Mar 13, 2010 I like having a few docks around the house to plant my iPhone. I have one next to my bed to charge the iPhone overnight while using it standing upright as an alarm clock. So I need a protective case that allows me to put the phone in the dock without any obstructions. I also like the phone unencumbered when I use it and like to carry it in my pocket without bulk. So I purchased the Sena Ultralight Pouch - it fit the bill - upfront. It was slim and stylish.
However in less than a year the top of the case began to splay and come apart on both sides. It is a pain now and sometimes without thinking I try to mildly force the phone into the splayed pouch and further ruin/rip the sides of the case.
The key point here is find a pouch that has stitching on top of the case (where you push in or pull out the phone) - that's what I'm doing. For now its just a minor aggravation that I need to follow-up and replace when I can.

Great iPhone 3 case Oct 02, 2009 I originally purchased this case to tide me over until I could find a belt holster case that I liked. The case does fit like a glove and is very low profile. I found it comfortable to drop in my front pocket, and I stopped looking for a holster. Great case.

Meets Expectations Sep 02, 2009 Slim and well-tailored to the iPhone. Provides good protection from scratches, minor protection from large impacts. I wanted a minimalist case that takes up little room in my pocket and this fits the bill. Have dropped the phone a couple times while cased. While I don't expect the case to provide protection from being dropped, the phone suffered no damage.

People are idiots, This sleeve fits perfect. Aug 30, 2009 If people expect this pouch to be loose and form fitting when they get it in the mail they are idiots, and don't need to be using a leather product. Like any leather product on the market, it will always come tight fitting. You have to let it stretch out and conform to the shape of your phone, it doesn't take long and will soon enough fit your iPhone 3G or 3Gs like a glove. It is leather and needs to be given some time to break in and get conditioned to your phone.
I love this product. It is sleek, and classy. I agree with posters that say that it is not as protective as some other cases. It is thin and just protects your phone from scratches while in your pocket or purse. If you drop your phone a lot then this product is not for you and you may want to consider a more heavy-duty case.
I love this classy piece and reccomend it to everyone that wants a good looking leather sleeve for their iPhone.

Great, high quality case Jul 04, 2009 I have owned one Sena case before, a belt holster for a larger, chunky phone. I ended up hating the size of that case, but loved the quality, so when I saw this case, I bought it.
Pros:
Slim,
Beautifully textured leather
High quality
Smooth, microfiber-like lining.
Cons: Holes don't let the speaker sound out very well, so flip the phone around so the speakers are on the open end.
I was hoping this case would work for a 3g with one of the tight form fitting rubberized polycarbonate cases on it. It didn't at first, since even the 3g alone would barely fit. However with some gentle, SLOW stretching with the iphone alone, then the iphone with case, then an ipod video 80gb, it finally fits. To help, wash your hands in tap water, then rub them over the case to let a LITTLE water soak in. Then put the phone, ipod, etc. in it to stretch it. I wouldn't recommend soaking the entire case, as the lining could separate from the leather, and you don't want any water to get into your phone/ipod, etc.
Summary: Excellent case, protects all sides from small drops, bumps while in your pocket, and scratches. However, this will obviously not protect the phone while you're using it, hence my reason for getting it to fit with the Shield case on it.
