Apparently, this product skipped the quality assurance department. It comes apart when the phone is dropped. Bummer - and I bought 2 of them! Lesson learned.

I agree with some of the other 1 star reviewers. Dirt gets inside the back and even along the front sides and scratches both the back and front of phone (along the front edge). Also, when you drop your phone, the case instantly falls apart. That might help a little from the initial drop, but then your phone is laying there exposed on the pavement or whatever.

I do not recommend. I think I'm better off without this case.

Yes, its a nice idea that this is made from recycled materials and yes its sturdy. What is wrong with this case is that it fits a tiny bit loosely in some places which allows things like sand to get inside the case. The sand gets trapped inside and scratches your phone. I've had this case for three months, took it off yesterday and was very dissappointed to find very noticeable scratches on my phone.

The other design flaw is that the logo is not affixed to the case. Since the logo is rubber or silicon it catches on everything (i.e. when putting the phone into your pocket) and falls out. I finally had to tape the thing in there so that it would stay.

Find a better case to protect your phone.

Falls apart when I drop it, but atleast my iPhone is safe! I had one of the sliders before this, an I like this better because it does not come apart when I pull it out of my pocket.

all in all, i'm pretty happy with this case. I did experience one bubble while putting on the included screen protector (even with a can of compressed air). The spec of dust somehow got on the adhesive side of the screen protector. i decided to leave it alone, after the 3rd attempt to remove it failed.
Now, back to the case: it is pretty slippery, and lacks the agent 18 rubber internal stand off pieces that raise the iPhone away from the case. Maybe that is no big deal, but the third photo here makes you think they are there. Agent18 EcoShield Case for iPhone 3G, 3G S (Black)
The case is slender, and thin, which may help you to find a holster in which this would fit.

bottom line: a little pricey, but thin, and fits 3GS perfectly. For those GREEN Earthy types, recycled materials make this attractive case the one to buy.
